Only thing you can really do is get over it. I have hyperhydrosis, sure it’s annoying, but i figured i’m better off not worrying about what other people are thinking about me. if somebody has a problem with me because I sweat, then they don’t deserve my time.
if you REALLY want, go to your doctor, ask for a liquid (comes in a bottle with built in applicator). it’s basically a high concentration of aluminum (aka cancer….). it stops your pits from sweating, but can cause rash if used every day. good luck.
Have you been fully assessed by an wholistic practitioner yet?? It could be a simple mineral or vitamin deficiency you are suffering from. A deficiency in vitamin B12 (pyridoxine) and or B6 (pyridoxine) will produce excessive sweating, excessive urination, dizzy spells, ataxia (tripping over), chest pains and heart palpitations, numbness and tingling and prickling sensations in the outer extremities, depression, headaches and migraines, muscle cramping and night sweats ….. B12 and B6 NEED sufficient calcium to be effectively assimilated ……. so either you are lacking in calcium magnesium (which work in tandem) or something is destroying your calcium supplies…. most otc and prescription meds will trash calcium and magnesium as will a diet high in processed sugar, processed salt, animal protein, saturated fat, caffeine, alcohol, sodas, pop … other things that will trash your calcium supplies are laxatives, diuretics, eostrogen supplementation …… eat more green leafy vegies and green salads, fresh salmon and fresh sardines… all rich in both calcium and magnesium ……. and try cleaning up your diet to include more fresh food that you prepare at home yourself….. try to eliminate fake packaged rubbishfood if you eat any.
when the “doctor” had me on toxicdoses of antidepressants (effexor 150mg) all those years ago i used to sweat a river every day ……. the minute i detoxed off them the sweating ceased…. don’t get me wrong… if you are on prescribed meds you MUST consult a physician about reducing or elimiating them …. the point i am making is that antidepressants trash your calcium magnesium and B complex of vitamins thus leaving you wide open to all sorts of ghastly side effects…. you need to weigh up which is preferable… the side effects or the benefits of the meds if you are on them.
i believe very strongly in the power of the subconscious mind ……. ONLY if it is not allergy/intolerance or mineral/vitamin deficiency related….. resolve your symptoms from the source…. try juicing celery and limes and drinking that each morning… rich in calcium magnesium and an easy way to ingest lots of greens if you don’t like eating salads……. and eat more foods rich in B12 and B6 ……. B12 – lean meats and fishes, eggs, cheese (if you can tolerate lactose)… B6 – lean meats and fishes, raw nuts and seeds (only a handfull daily ground up for easier digestion), brown rice, rolled oats.
some symptoms of calcium deficiency are headaches and migraines, insomnia, achy bones, moodiness and irritability, digestive issues such as bloating cramping and constipation.
try healing you from the source and get your mineral vitamin levels checked.
peace
There’s no guarantee, but hypnosis offers a possible treatment for your sweating problem. There are various schools of hypnosis (just like psychotherapy), and you will have to find a hynotist who is educated, capable and with whom you feel confident.
Some hypnotists put you in a very relaxed state of mind and repeat positive suggestions aimed at your unconscious mind to resolve the condition. Without knowing more about you, I cannot say if that would help.
There are other forms of hypnosis in which you are regressed to an earlier age (not past life regression). There may have been a traumatic event or events that later in life triggered your sweating problem (or other health issue). Once you “relive” that stressful event(s), you can overcome that stressful memory and start on your way to health. This can be a fast easy process or one that is a little complicated and takes time.
There are other hypnotic methods that can also be beneficial. However, since I know almost nothing about you, it is hard to advise which method would work best for you.
Try to find a reputable hypnotist who has lots of referrals or testimonials from former clients. Of course, a personal referral would be the best. There are hypnotists out there who are poorly trained, and hypnotists with vast training who can do amazingly successful work. Look for a hypnotist who has also been certified as a mental health counselor or psyotherapist.
By the way, I hope you have talked to a doctor or alternative medical professional to see if they can help in any way. I wish you the best.
Hi Magic Lady
I’ve only ever treated one patient for hyperhydrosis.
He’d had surgery. The surgery had not stopped him sweating. It just made him sweat in different places. And the hypnosis didn’t stop him sweating either. It just made him go back to sweating in the original, more natural places. He actually thought that was a result!
But I was able to stop him worrying about it and being so concerned what other people thought. And as a consequence of that, with less stress and anxiety the sweating did abate somewhat.
Best wishes

You can use hypnosis (or in particular hypnotherapy) to control the mental aspect behind your hyperhydrosis. Emotionally, hypnosis can allow you to reduce the stress and feel much more comfortable and accepting with the condition.
It wouldnt be advised to aim for amnesia of the situation as it is a clearly physically evident condition, however when someone accepts it for what it is, the rest all falls into place.
