What is the difference between mind control and hypnosis?

pls provide an answer that can be understood by a 15 yr old student… thank you

To me, hypnosis is something that you have to decide to submit to. Someone can’t really hypnotize you if you are not willing. Mind control is more like – oh my god I have power of you now! fear me!. Unless you mean mind control like manipulation, which is something that you do to someone that is conscious rather than making them in a sleep like state.
Hypnosis is voluntary, mind-control is not. That’s the difference.
Mind control is when you have no choice and do not realize it is happening, usually involves drugs.
Hypnosis is a state of mind and in which you are extremely aware of what is going on.
