So I’ve been trying to do self-hypnosis for quite a while now, but it never seems to work. I was wondering if anyone who has been successful at this has any advice. What has worked for you? Any tips or advice would be really helpful. Thanks!

Self confidence is an emotional and mental state of mind which responds to our need for self-acceptance and recognition. It’s among the oldest and most studied concepts in psychology. It is used to describe a good albeit adequate perception of oneself and one’s abilities. Hence, self-confident persons generally have a better knowledge of what they are able to achieve and are more likely to be successful in what they attempt. They are also more likely to accept and learn from their mistakes.
Contrarily, a lack of confidence may deter you from trusting that your actions or decisions will ultimately turn out the way you had planned. It can thus hamper the buildup of executive skills, planning and managerial abilities all of which are basic and mandatory skills in today’s business world. The pre-occupation with other people’s judgment of your work might also cause you to become too self-critical, which will distract you from things you would have otherwise been totally able to do.

I have a couple of psychiatric self-hypnosis tapes and mp3′s that are meant to hypnotise. The tracks usually consist of a hypnotherapist who gives specific instructions to achieve the suggested state of hypnosis. From my own experience, most of them can end up successful that is if you are following the specific instructions given.
I can vividly remember one experience where I knew I was hypnotized for sure and had no control over my body but only controlled by the Dr. giving the specific tasks.

I had a bad experience at the dentist at a young age (a tooth was extracted without enough anaesthetic…) and as a result I have a fear of syringes in my mouth, which is an issue because I wish to get dental work done without the anxiety consuming me. Can anyone suggest a self-hypnosis technique I can use to lessen this effect?
I am not suggesting I substitute the anaesthetic for hypnosis, but that I hypnotize myself to lessen my conscious awareness of the syringe.

Has any of this happened to you?
Your boss ends your Monday with a stack of papers and instructions that you must submit this report in the next 48 hours or else…
Your significant other doesn’t answer your calls when you need to get a hold of them the most

I’ve been watching hypnosis videos in youtube.com and learnt that these type of videos are getting more videos than any other video, so I kinda thinking of making my self-hypnosis video and then upload it in Youtube.com.

Instant Self Hypnosis
It’s good to suffer ways to lift yourself into more and more states of consciousness when the going gets rough. How close to Other instantaneous ways to shift into states of relaxation when the stresses of life arrive upon you? Einstein said that you will not handle a problem on the total number it was made – from the mind. You own to go to one more level to find the solution.Instant Self Hypnosis
Here’s how! Create an Instant Trance State You can get “out of your mind” and into another state so that you can actually create another point of view on anything in your life. You can relax yourself so you don’t react as much to the ups and downs of your life. So if someone is saying things to you that push your buttons or if you feel overwhelmed with so much to do, here’s something you can do: You can keep your eyes open or you can close them, as you wish.

Considering the advantages of Self-Hypnosis MP3s
Hypnosis is an old strategy, practised in the West since the Enlightenment, and formerly in other cultures going into ancient times. Its base elements are straightforward, but the process, and our understanding of it, has improved and progressed over a period. As technology improves, so it has been controlled to provide enhancements to the procedure of hypnosis. One of the major advances that was made possible was the way in which audio recording, and then video recording after it, took away the need for the hypnotist or hypnotherapist. This is what led to the arrival of what we call self-hypnosis. Of course, self hypnosis is precisely the same thing as traditional hypnosis- both are the method whereby an individual can be led into a cool and suggestible state, where the mind is able to make changes, positive suggestions or affirmation that they can then carry with them as they return into a waking state. Hypnosis, regardless of the popular associations it has with some type of mind-control or coercion, has always been a technique the subject voluntarily undertakes. What’s more, it is they themselves who are carrying it out. All the verbal or audio part offered by the hypnotist or the self-hypnosis tape provides is a path- a lead you opt to follow into the hypnotic state.
