A successful person has a lot of major qualities which together form the foundations which lead to success. To have the confidence in oneself, the belief that you have a good idea, the belief that you can do it is clearly a major factor. This is needed by the barrel load. Tenacity is also required, the tenacity to keep on going, to fight for your ideals, for your goals no matter what obstacles get in your way. Determination and commitment are essential ingredients, as is a burning desire to succeed. This is what causes you to leave no stone unturned. The ability to focus on your goal and turn a blind eye to distractions is also involved.
What else is needed in order to stand out from the crowd? The icing upon the cake is to have imagination, to have vision. The most essential thing of all is the ability to see the end result which you so desire. How could you make a chair if you could not visualize it first? How could you design an airplane if you did not imagine flying first? How could the electric light bulb be invented without first having a vision of the light which it would create?

When you have suffered with heart disease, the first thing that the doctor advises you to do is to learn to manage stress. Sometimes it seems that stress is everywhere and seems to manage you. Then there are the changes to your diet that have to be considered. Where do you start? How do you survive all of these changes?
Religious or not, superstitious or not, one has to wonder if there is any merit or truth in Nostradamus’ apparent ability to see things that no normal human can see. I don’t believe that he was possessed or that he was a devil worshiper as some have claimed. In more modern times you have people like Criss Angel who is a master of the art of slight of hand and mental manipulation. You have people who can control your mind through hypnosis, etc… So my question is: do you think it is very likely that some people, whether a natural ability or an ability that is taught, do have powers that are beyond what we would consider normal. In other words, do some people simply use more brain power than the rest of us, or have some inclination to have seemingly supernatural powers?
I think there are people who have natural powers that are beyond normal that we think is weird or having to do with the devil or play off as fake. Just as people believe in God or Jesus (a supernatural being that created everything), why can’t we accept that there are people who live on this Earth that may have special and non-natural powers? If religious people say they do not believe in the supernatural, then you cannot believe in God. It should work both ways. is it jealousy, closed-mindedness, or what? Just curious to see what others think.
Okay. I am doing a homework about hypnosis and I want a simple explanation about hypnosis and its uses. Pls provide an answer that can be understood by a 15-yr old highschool student..

I yet came across a poster stuck on a restaurant message team when I headed out for lunch. The poster said, “Learn How to Hynotize and Start Influencing People.” It easily caught my attention, not because I had prior mortgage in hypnosis, but because the title resembles one of my favorite self permit books, Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People”. There was nothing completely wrong with beginning hypnosis training, even if you have no specific purpose for hypnosis. I was just curious and since curiosity has always gotten over me in the past, I called the number written on the poster and signed up for that weekend’s session. The session was held in the function room of a restaurant downtown.
I’m very interested in hypnosis. Not for myself, I don’t want to be hypnotized, but I would like to see other people being hypnotized. Does anyone know of any sites where you can actually watch real footage of this, by a professional. I’ve already checked youtube and it’s all amateurs, I want the real deal. Thanks!
