HypBirth, natural birth without pain relief??

I am really hoping to be able to give birth without an epidural and if possible, any other medical pain relief. This is my first pregnancy so I have no frame of reference of my own… I just don’t like the idea of the epidural and the possible side effects – also it increases the chances of needing an episiotomy, another thing I really want to avoid if possible. Anxiety natural treatment?

I have, especially during the last few years do to life happenings, become a VERY anxious person, at times depressed. I was taking Lexapro for a year or so but stopped because I went through a phase where I just did NOT want to medicate. I, however, just went to my college football game and had an anxiety attack, sweating, heart racing, throat closing, panicky feeling. This has happened several times but now its getting in the way of my life, anxiety all the time.
