Hypnosis for Quitting Smoking and Losing weight?

My husband and i really want to quit smoking. So tonight we are going to a get hypnotized for quitting smoking and losing weight. It is funded through the City here *FREE*. I have been hypnotized before (for fun at a convention) like 7 years ago and and i am an easy hypnoitzee. My question is, Does my being hypnotized before make this more likely to work for me?
