Most of you would probably be familiar with the best selling book “Think And Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. Many people have claimed that the book changed their thinking and have seen their personal wealth grow in abundance. If people can think and grow rich, then can people think and grow thin? Can thinking to be thin help you to lose weight or conversely, for thin people, help them to gain extra weight?
Ever since the released of Rhonda Byrne’s “The Secret” DVD and book in 2006, The Law of Attraction (LOA), which is the main theme of her work swept the world by storm. If you are unfamiliar with the law of attraction, then the simplistic definition of the law of attraction is that you attract to you what are in your dominant thoughts and what you are focused on. In other words, thoughts become things. That means that you get what you think and focused on.

Emotional Eating: What Is It, Why Does It Work?
I get all kinds of people calling me and asking for help to lose weight and get them back on track with their health and fitness. It’s what I do, so it’s not uncommon to have people seek advice and information from me. I’m used to it. One of the questions I hear the most is “why do I continue to behave this way, when I know it’s hurting me?” Emotions are a driving force behind unintentional unhealthy behaviors, especially behaviors involving eating.
Usually, people who are overweight, and are trying to lose weight, eat in response to emotions and not hunger. This is probably one of the main reasons people are overweight. Eating in response to emotion, rather than real physical hunger. When you eat in response to real physical hunger, after a certain amount of food, you will eventually feel full. And when you feel full, you will stop eating. That is a natural ability in almost all of us. Check out a new arrival to this world, if you’re unsure that this is so. Newborns stop eating when they have had enough. They naturally eat what they need, and do not overeat.

Have you tried diet program after diet program, only to be disappointed? Have your attempts to lose weight been met with frustration and failure?
If so, you’re not alone; millions of people have had the same problem. That’s probably why an increasing number of people are looking to hypnosis to lose weight. And while on rare occasions you hear of someone getting results this way, I’m skeptical about hypnosis as a weight loss technique.
The reason is simple: hypnosis makes the assumption that there’s, well, something wrong in your head that’s keeping you from losing weight. Something wrong with your character, habits, and behavior that needs to change.
More often than not, if you have a few extra pounds on your frame that you’ve been trying to lose, there’s nothing wrong with you-you’ve just been using the wrong techniques. Most people try to lose weight by denying themselves the foods they like, or attempting long, rigorous, difficult exercise programs. These are two of the most well-known, but also most difficult to lose weight.
There’s a different way to lose weight, that’s natural, safe, fast, and healthy; and it doesn’t rely on putting you in a trance to make you behave differently. The key is to stimulate your body’s metabolism so that it burns calories at rates that will astound you. Ironically, it’s fairly easy to achieve metabolic rates which will melt the fat off of your body in record time-it’s just not something that happens automatically in today’s busy society.
Believe it or not, the key to rapid weight loss is to vary things like the length of the intervals between your meals, and the portion sizes you eat at every meal. These changes can stimulate your metabolism as much as exercise does, or more. It’s an approach that’s based on science, and is a much more effective method than hypnosis to lose weight.
The FatLoss4Idiots diet is the most popular calorie shifting diet on the market. People have lost up to 9 pounds in 11 days on this diet, giving them great bodies in under a month when they previously thought there was no diet that could work for them.

Self hypnosis has become a very popular technique for weight loss. Many people at a dead end for weight loss solutions that work have learned that hypnosis can help them lose weight. With a bit of understanding about hypnosis and planning you can do the same thing that hypnotherapy can do for you at almost no cost. One of the first things to do is determine what you want to explore or accomplish with hypnosis. What are your self-betterment goals?
For some it may be to alleviate stress, anxiety or problems with self-confidence and self-esteem. For others, it may be eliminating bad habits or improper thoughts, cravings or binging behavior. The best way to do this is to write out your plan and then examine the approach that you want to take.

The South Beach diet plan is among the most popular ways to lose weight today. It is based around lifestyle and diet changes that help you steadily lose weight. By cutting “bad” fats and carbohydrates and having plenty of “good” ones, dieters can take weight off without feeling deprived or sacrificing their health.
There are three phases in the South Beach program. During the first stage, dieters can’t eat any carbohydrates except for vegetables. Although many foods are restricted, dieters still have a wide choice of foods they can consume. Stage one is the most difficult stage, but also the shortest since it only takes fourteen days. Dieters are expected to lose between 8 to 12 pounds during this period.

A lot of people remain skeptical about the solutions that hypnosis can offer. They know that hypnotherapists claim that their techniques can help you deal with issues like quitting smoking and losing weight but they still canât quite accept that it could work for them.
