<p>A person who has experienced some measure of success in life may balk at the idea of self confidence hypnosis. If one is quite comfortable with his own abilities, then why rock the boat, so to speak. This belief may exactly be the reason for that person to take a second look at himself.</p>
<p>As actively promoted by its proponents, self confidence hypnosis may be helpful to those who have fears in these common scenarios: public speaking, socializing with people or going to job interviews. Immediately, a person who may be intrigued by hypnosis but don&#8217;t believe that he has self confidence issues may be convinced that he has no use for it. The fact is, self confidence hypnosis is not just limited to overcoming anxiety in speaking to large crowds.</p>

<p>Self confidence, as distinguished from self-esteem, is the belief in one&#8217;s ability or capacity to do something. To put it in another way, even if one has confidence in one thing, it does not necessarily follow that he has confidence in all things. A person who has no qualms in selling his new idea in the boardroom or in persuading his case to a hostile jury may doubt himself when it comes to haggling for the best price in buying a car or in any other situation that he is not usually accustomed to be in. The only way they can take control of these negative beliefs is to extract them out of their subconscious mind and have it replaced by positive ideas. <p>Another example of one&#8217;s confidence being shaken are those times when life throws him a curve ball and he is put into a situation that he needs to adjust to, but may not know exactly how. It may be during the period when one is laid off, for instance, or when one needs to relocate to a new and unfamiliar place or country or in any situation when one is taken out of his comfort zone. Some may cope easily; others, although confident in other areas, may find these changes daunting.</p>
<p>Lastly, there are those milestones in life that most people go through. This can be a marriage, divorce, birth of a child or loss of loved ones. Major adjustments may be needed to go through these milestones and many often find themselves at a loss on how to proceed and would start to second-guess themselves. <p>Ever feel not good enough or not strong enough to face your challenges? Ever get overwhelmed by feelings of weakness and insecurities? So now when you hear the music again, the subconscious triggers the memories connected with it. In effect, the song is an anchor for those sensations.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
With anchoring, clients are regressed to an instance where they did experience the feelings of confidence. As they remember and re-experience those feelings, they are taught to touch two fingers together. The subconscious then associates the emotions of confidence with this behavior. If the patient argues that they have no recollection of ever feeling confident, they can create an imaginary event in which they do see themselves being confident, and then anchor that instance of confidence.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
After anchoring the emotions of confidence, when they find themselves in situations that necessitate self-confidence, touching the fingers together triggers memories of confidence that are useful in the present situation.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
A very useful NLP too called the &#8220;Flash&#8221; may be utilized to instantaneously substitute stressful emotions, which are often connected with a lack of self-confidence. Because of this method, the individual diverts the visual images that create negative emotions, to trigger visual pictures to produce a constructive response.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
For instance, the individual programs the subconscious to use the mental images that cause feelings of uncertainty, as triggers for mental pictures that precipitate emotions of self confidence. It is our mental images that trigger our emotions.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Confidence hypnosis, as you can probably guess by its name, is focused on gaining the trust of any target audience to the point where they can be manipulated without outside awareness of the tactic.  This could be on a one-to-one basis, such as in an employee-employer exchange.  Or it could involve a much larger group of people in which the confidence hypnosis practitioner wishes to influence and dominate for his or her own gain.</p>
<p>One of the first questions my more humble students ask me is always related to if there is anything immoral about such an activity.  However I would like to reassure my readers that it&#8217;s not a tool (which confidence hypnosis is) that is harmful, but the person utilising that tool.  We all have a choice about how to use our skills and talents, and training in confidence hypnosis is just the same as any other.</p>
<p><span id="more-1379"></span></p>
<p>What you need to remember first and foremost is that world leaders and politicians have been using these language softening and manipulation techniques for years.  Sure, they&#8217;ve maybe not had formal training.  Even more interesting, they might not have realised their use of these strategies!</p>
<p>Regardless of the above, the fact remains that people who employ confidence hypnosis move on to become much more successful, powerful and influential than their peers.  There is a reason why books on rhetoric focus in on specific famous speakers, usually involving presidents, prime ministers and other famous names.</p>
<p>The reality is that even if you aren&#8217;t born with these talents, you have two options.  You can pay someone else to feed you the material to get through specific incidents (such as a speech in a government office).  Or, you can truly train yourself to understand these methods; this is usually done via a learning course or mentorship program.  There are several well-respected colleges offering training in such areas, although potential students should always follow advice about how to assess courses on offer, just like any other wily consumer.</p>

This can help to ease any tension or relieve any stress you may have about trying these techniques for the first time.</p>
<p>Once you learn these techniques they can become a daily activity that can help you relieve the stress of your day to day activities, handle pressure at work and even help you deal with personal relationships.</p>

<p>A Professional Hypnotist teaching you the required techniques can make the whole process sound very easy, and for some of us it can be that way, but finding a quiet place where you can totally relax and shut yourself away from the rest of the world for a few minutes can sometimes be a lot harder than it sounds.</p>
<p>Sometimes, just being still and quiet is something we have to learn, so you need to find a quiet room, maybe at night when everyone is asleep, or maybe a part of the house that is away from the noise, I have even sat reclined in my car in a quiet street before.</p>
<p>You can also help to set the mood with some quiet relaxing music or Binaural Frequency Harmonics, dim the lights down, find a position that you can fully relax in without having to think about it, if music is too invasive play some sounds of nature or water sounds, these are a great relaxer.</p>
<p>Aromatherapy oils and certain other soothing smells can help you to relax, and a soft comfortable area with cushions or blankets can also help.</p>
<p>There are certain narratives that you can learn that will induce you into a hypnotic state, and help you relax mentally and spiritually. You can record your own, but if like me you are not keen on hearing your own voice it is better to get a CD or DVD with someone else&#8217;s voice instead, so you are not distracted.</p>
<p>I use self-hypnosis, and the results have been good, and even somewhat spectacular on occasions, hypnosis has definitely helped me in many areas of my life. One technique I would like to share with you that may sound crazy to a person not in a hypnotic state, but one that works for me is as follows:</p>
<p>I have taught myself to get rid of stressful thoughts like someone at work giving me a hard time, I just picture the person standing there moaning, and I take them from wherever I feel them and shrink them down very small, I then put them on my shoulder, and then down to the end of my thumb. I give them a ridiculous Mickey Mouse voice and ears, and while they are ranting on they just sit there so small and stupid that I do not care.</p>
<p>This may sound silly at first but try it, I do it in all sorts of situations and it lifts stress from me almost every time I do it.</p>
