			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>NLP anchoring provides a very effective method for stacking and anchoring our past resources and positive experiences. We can call upon these resources whenever we need them for golfing excellence.</p>
<p>The round of golf I played a few days after my first NLP course sums up my experience of using resource anchoring to build and hold together a really good round of golf. I was just so calm and composed. Despite not hitting the ball that well, I hit 16 of the first 17 holes in regulation and hit a long drive up the middle on 18. That&#8217;s when I suddenly realised what was happening and I started thinking “all I need is a par” to have my best round here. I completely lost it for 3 awful shots then suddenly remembered about my NLP skills and got back in the zone and almost holed a tricky shot from the over the back of the green.</p>
<p><span id="more-1982"></span></p>
<p>This article takes that idea a lot further by providing a self-hypnosis script that installs that concept in your unconscious. That makes sure that you don&#8217;t have to consciously remember to use your anchor whenever you need it. Your unconscious is programmed to make it happen.</p>
<p>Now I&#8217;m making the big assumption here that you know how to take yourself into hypnosis &#8211; If you do, then you know what to do with the script below. If you don&#8217;t, then find someone to help you or learn how to do it for yourself or just give it a try &#8211; what have you got to lose?.;</p>
<p>Assuming that you&#8217;re relaxed, and whether you&#8217;ve formally taken yourself into hypnosis or you&#8217;re just sitting there relaxed, just continue with these words:</p>
<p>Now relax as you travel through all those wonderful golfing experiences in your memory and your imagination. Relaxing more and more, as you are seeing those courses and imagining talking with those friends and golfing partners &#8211; the people who make your golfing experience so good. If you&#8217;re not familiar with self-hypnosis, just relax, switch off the phone, turn down the light and just quietly read these words slowly to yourself.</p>
<p>And as you see all those wonderful golf courses, you are building an image of the most wonderfully relaxing golf course. And I don&#8217;t know if you are imagining your perfect golf course and clubhouse or if you are remembering your favourite one, while you are relaxing deeper and deeper and more and more contentedly into the armchair in your favourite clubroom. After a few moments relaxing there, you see a door and realise that it&#8217;s the door of the locker room and when I count to four, you&#8217;re going to step through it.</p>
<p>Relax more deeply and allow your mind to drift down to golfing heaven as one… two… three… Four! You open the door and step through and as you look around, you see your friend and playing partners and as they greet you warmly, you feel a warm glow of relaxing confidence as you know, just know deeply, that you are going to have the most wonderfully relaxing game of golf ever.</p>
<p>As you look around, you see another door and realise that it&#8217;s the door to your locker, even if you don&#8217;t have a locker, and as you count from one to four, you reach forward happily and expectantly to open the door and look inside, knowing there are some powerful messages there for you.</p>
<p>And as a result, you relax even more and allow your mind to drift down, as one… two… three… Four! You open the door and find your golf clubs, the clubs that remind you and fuel your imagination of all the golfing abilities you use to get the most out of &#8211; your rounds of golf: your relaxed grip, the stance that provides the relaxed balance and stability to your swing and that wonderful tempo that smoothly swishes the club through to a perfect finish. And most importantly, you are relieved to find those most reassuring course management skills that let you get the most out of your mind as you play.</p>
<p>As your mind wanders, you look deeper and deeper down into the locker and notice a special journal, real or imaginary, and when you count to four, you are going to pick up and open that book.</p>
<p>One…two…three…fore! And you open that special journal, the storehouse of all your most wonderful golfing memories; the greatest shots you have ever played and imagined. The memories wash over you and imbue you with a feeling of more and more relaxed confidence.</p>
<p>And as you step out onto the first tee, taking out your driver, planning the shot carefully and preparing to repeat the best driver shot that you have ever played or imagined. When you&#8217;re ready you step forward into your stance, you see the ball there glowing white and illuminating the area where you take your stance. It doesn&#8217;t matter now if the ball is on a tee or sitting on the tee, as you step into the glow, take your stance, swing smoothly and watch the ball sail perfectly down the fairway or to the green. And as your friends and playing partners congratulate you and you feel a warm relaxing feeling of contentment well up inside you, you bring your hands gently together into your grip and gently squeeze your hands on the club as you hang on to the wonderful feelings for a few moments, before stepping out of your stance and the residual glow from the ball, a s you feel yourself putting the club back into the bag. That&#8217;s right.</p>
<p>Now, you are surveying a long fairway wood shot into a distant green and you take out your fairway wood, plan the shot carefully and prepare to repeat the best fairway wood shot that you have ever played or imagined. And as you step forward into your stance, you see the ball there on the fairway glowing white and illuminating the area where you take your stance. I t doesn&#8217;t matter now if the shot is over bunker or lake, or whether it&#8217;s a more straightforward shot, as you step into the glow, take your stance, swing smoothly and watch the ball sail perfectly onto the green. And as your friends and playing partners congratulate you and you feel a warm relaxing feeling of contentment well up inside you, you bring your hands gently together into your grip and gently squeeze your hands on the club, as you hang on to the wonderful feelings for a few moments, before stepping out of your stance and the residual glow from the ball. Before putting the club back into the bag. That&#8217;s wonderful … great golf is so relaxing.</p>
<p>Further into the round, you are facing a mid-iron shot into a smallish green, it doesn&#8217;t matter if it&#8217;s a 5, 6 or 7-iron that you&#8217;re choosing. You are relaxed and confident as you plan the shot carefully and prepare to repeat the best iron shot that you have ever played or imagined. And as you step forward into your stance, you see the ball there glowing white on the fairway and illuminating the area where you take your stance. And it doesn&#8217;t matter if you plan to land the ball gently by the flag or caress it and let it run up there smoothly. As, you step into the glow, you take your stance, swing smoothly and watch the ball sail perfectly onto the green and finish really close to the hole. And as your friends and playing partners congratulate you and you feel a warm relaxing feeling of contentment well up inside you, you bring your hands gently together into your grip and gently squeeze your hands on the club as you hang on to the wonderful feelings for a few moments, before stepping out of your stance and the residual glow from the ball, putting the club back into the bag. You just know that&#8217;s how a great golfer plays mid-irons.</p>
<p>You&#8217;re now on one the large undulating greens, looking over a longish putt. And it doesn&#8217;t really matter if you are planning to play the putt, gently taking all the borrow and letting the ball just drop slowly into the hole or if you are taking a more direct route, as you confidently plan the putt and prepare to repeat the best putt you have ever played or imagined. And as you step forward into your stance, you see the ball there glowing white on the green and illuminating the area where you take your stance. As, you step into the glow, you take your stance, putt the ball smoothly and watch it roll steadily and unerringly into the hole, as you punch the air in delight. And as your friends and playing partners congratulate you and you feel a warm relaxing feeling of contentment well up inside you, you bring your hands gently together into your grip and gently squeeze your hands on the club as you hang on to the wonderful feelings for a few moments, before stepping out of your stance and the residual glow from the ball, putting the putter back in the bag. Tiger woods dreams of moments like this. Doesn&#8217;t he?</p>
<p>Now, imagine your next round of golf. It doesn&#8217;t matter if it&#8217;s next weekend or some other time in the future. And as you prepare to play each and every shot or putt, you see the glow of the ball on the ground illuminating the area of your stance and when you are ready to take the shot, you step into the glow, take your stance, feel the relaxing glow all around you, and as you bring your hands gently together into your grip, gently squeeze your hands together on the club, remembering all those feelings of relaxed confidence and elation. And you hit the best shot ever, continuing in this way and completing the best round of golf you have ever played.</p>
<p>Now&#8217;s the time to thank your unconscious mind for this self-hypnosis experience and ask that part of you to repeat this wonderful experience for you with every shot and round of golf that you play.</p>
<p>And as you emerge from self-hypnosis, in your normal way or by counting up from 1 to 5, you just know now that your golf is improving and more confident every time you play.</p>

<p>These could be anything from eating too much, biting your nails, constantly smoking or anything else that you do at a less-than-conscious level. The best way to get rid of an annoying habit is to invest a few dollars in a hypnosis track that has been purpose written for that particular habit. It can also help with the real life variety as well &#8211; anything from the piercing problem of a migraine headache through to pain in your limbs due to degenerative or other diseases. There also people who&#8217;ve got through giving birth without any help from modern medicine but instead purely using the power of hypnosis.</p>

<p>Any group who has a belief in any kind of higher power displays better health. Also, this has been observed in those who meditate and undergo hypnosis. When we pray, meditate or enter any state of deep relaxation our brain receives health benefits&#8230;but this is in NO WAY exclusive to Christians&#8230;through relaxation or meditation, atheists receive the same.<br />
And yes, people benefit from the community often provided through church&#8230;as they do through other non-religious types of community&#8230;<br />
do not be fooled&#8230;you dont have to be a Christian for this!!<br />

In fact, a good amount of of the golf psychology techniques that I talk about in my articles start off amidst the phrases &#8220;If you are familiar in a quick system for taking yourself into self-hypnosis, then use it now.&#8221; So today, I&#8217;m going to describe a simple technique for taking yourself into a safe, light and relaxing trance. <strong>Hypnosis Psychologist</strong></p>
<p>Using it will help you in getting the most out of the golf psychology ideas included in my other articles, newsletters and posts. You can also use this technique to calm and relax yourself at times of stress and anxiety, like taking an exam, meeting the boss, first-tee nerves or standing over an important shot on the golf course. As you&#8217;ll soon realise, this &#8220;Finger Breathing&#8221; technique does need a bit of imagination, but you must already be pretty imaginative if you&#8217;re looking to use golf psychology to improve your golf! <strong>Hypnosis Psychologist</strong></p>
<p><span id="more-1255"></span></p>
<p>Finger Breathing Step 1: Start by finding a peaceful location, it can be in the middle of a crowd or on the golf course, just as long as you can quietly ignore what&#8217;s going on around you. It doesn&#8217;t matter if you&#8217;re standing up or sitting down and you can have you&#8217;re eyes open or closed. What&#8217;s important is to be as comfortable as you can be wherever you are.</p>
<p>Step 2: Quietly take a few slow deep breaths while noticing how the air you&#8217;re breathing in is cooling your body and calming your mind and the air you&#8217;re breathing out is releasing all the tension from your body.</p>
<p>Step 3: Now, this is the bit where you need to use that imagination of yours. As you&#8217;re inhaling, start imagining that you&#8217;re breathing the air in through your fingers and noticing how the air seems to cool your fingers. <strong><a rel="nofollow" rel="nofollow" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" href="http://hypnosis-info.info/gs/Hypnosis_Psychologist/1255/2">Hypnosis Psychologist</a></strong></p>
<p>Step 4: With each subsequent breath in, imagine that cooling feeling slowly spreading up through your hands to your wrists, forearms, upper arms, shoulders, neck and on up to the top of your head; relaxing all the muscles as it goes. And once it gets to the top of your head, let it continue down over your face and into your upper body as you continue breathing in.</p>
<p>Step 5: Once the cooling sensation and relaxation spreads through to your upper body, start noticing how the flow continues on each out-breath down through your lower body and on through your thighs, knees, lower legs and ankles into your feet with each subsequent breath. Learn how each out-breath cools and relaxes the muscles until it finally seems to flow out of your toes leaving a slight tingling sensation there. <strong>Hypnosis Psychologist</strong></p>
<p>Step 6: Now imagine that the cooling and relaxing air flowing out of your toes as you breathe out seems to flow back in through your fingers as you breathe in again. Notice how your breathing just seems to be a steady rotating cycle with the air simply flowing in through your fingers, continuing through your body, exiting through your toes and then back in through your fingers again. <strong>Hypnosis Psychologist</strong></p>
<p>Step 7: Just continue with this cycle of breathing until you&#8217;re feeling calm and relaxed and ready to tackle whatever golf psychology technique or challenging situation you&#8217;re undertaking now. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hypnosis is something I would call the great &#8216;stab in the dark&#8217; technique because people who do practice it are going into the brain without a map, nor a compass to guide them to where they should be going. The brain is a mysterious place, and in the five thousand years of enlightenment, modern science has only been able to fathom about 10 &#8211; 15% of the power of the brain.</p>
<p>&#13;This accounts for a small fraction of what the brain is capable of and sometimes when we think about it, the potential of what we can do is really quite frightening. Brainwave entrainment works better than <a href="http://hypnosis-info.info">hypnosis techniques</a> because hypnosis techniques are blunt, over generalised and its applications are unfounded. It places a message or regressive signals within the subconscious without realising certain things &#8211; is the person in the state of hypnosis, really in the state of hypnosis itself? There are many levels of &#8216;unconsciousness&#8217;, and the state that hypnosis tries to get to is very specific.</p>

<p>&#13;Furthermore, nobody can be really sure whether the subconscious is even brought to bear; it could still be very well locked away in a torrent of psychology that isn&#8217;t taken into account. Hypnotism is a mind field &#8211; where sometimes dreams, past regressions and even flashbacks can overcome the session, rendering whatever messages that should be implanted useless.</p>
<p>&#13;A better method has been around for quite a long time and it is called, as mentioned before, brainwave entrainment, which is the specific science of inducing the brain to produce specific electromagnetic frequencies &#8211; the very same frequencies that can tune to the brain to a specific state. A little history on the matter; science has discovered that the brain exists in several different frequency states &#8211; ranging from beta to theta states.</p>
<p>&#13;The brain uses neurons to directly communicate signals internally as well as to the rest of the body. When there is massive activity, it is able to be detected on sensitive electromagnetic equipment. Science has tracked the different frequency states and linked them to areas of super learning or super brain functions. The use of the word super here is not totally exaggerated &#8211; subjects have found that their brain capacity and functions almost double when in these states. Hypnosis is not an exact science and it is not aware of the frequency states that it induces, as well as having no measurable way to define what state the brain is in, whether or not the messages are getting through or whether the subject is responding to it at all. Add to that an industry of entertainers and bogus testimonials with no measurable variables of success and you get something that you can easily give a miss.</p>
<p>&#13;Why place your brain in the hands of a simpleton&#8217;s tool when you have the delicate wares necessary to pick the brain apart and better your life. This is why brainwave entrainment works better than hypnosis techniques and this is why you should not even consider the rudimentary over the advanced.</p>

<p>Of all the tools at our disposal for bettering ourselves in all the ways we can, what could ever be more powerful than language and conversation? Through conversation you can direct the attention of others toward whatever you like. When you are quite proficient at conversation, you might even be said to be hypnotic. This, as it turns out is not just a casual turn of phrase. It rather gives reference to the true science and art of <a href="http://hypnosis-info.info">conversational hypnosis</a>.</p>
<p>&#13;Conversational hypnosis is language directed toward the goal of holding another&#8217;s attention and adjusting their mood and behavior. One conversational hypnosis technique is to first talk about the obvious good points of whatever is being discussed. Then take the objection, whatever it might be, and change the way it is being looked at into something more enjoyable. Here&#8217;s an example of this in action: You have received a promotion at work, but it requires you and your family to move abroad. Upon hearing this news, your spouse is upset with the situation because it requires the whole family to uproot and move. Begin by holding the emotional state that you would like your spouse to hold. Then you can start talking. By pointing out that the promotion comes with a sizable increase in pay, and puts you in the running for another promotion later, which will give you the opportunity to choose where you want to live, you can change your spouse&#8217;s mood. At this point, your spouse is much more likely to be swayed to think of the promotion as a good thing. Then simply reframe the situation by stating the very objections in a much more positive way. For example, you could say that it is a good opportunity to travel, and anything else that makes this promotion a good thing for the family. So, in the end what you have done is to put your spouse in a more receptive mood, and then gave some reasons to be happy about the whole situation. This is very often enough to change the behavior of anyone at all.</p>

<p>&#13;One way for the power of conversational hypnosis to benefit you at work is to help you to get that promotion or raise in the first place. Once you truly are at a time when you really feel that you deserve the raise or promotion, begin by mentioning the topic casually, and then just let it drop. Then, after a couple of hours, casually, in the course of normal conversation, use some metaphors to speak about your worth to the company (&#8216;I&#8217;m worth my weight in gold&#8217;, or &#8216;I go the extra mile&#8217;, etc&#8230;). You may need to improve the mood of whoever you are talking to, just as in the example above. However, since there is no confrontation in this example, you can use whatever verbal tool you like to do that. Actual memories that involve both you and your boss (and your boss&#8217; boss if there such a person), where you performed well is a great choice. Doing these things, when you get around to actually asking for the raise or promotion, you may find your boss is ready to give you what you ask for without the need for persuasion.</p>
<p>&#13;If you are in sales, the secrets of conversational hypnosis are going to be absolutely invaluable to you. With the understanding of how to lead others in the direction that you already realize that they are going, you can help them to get there much faster. Perhaps they will even more easily see the good in getting the higher model of whatever it is that you are selling. By listening to their exact wording, you can more quickly come to understand what it is the customer is really looking to buy (a status symbol, an actual tool, simply a toy, etc&#8230;). Just get them talking, and do some listening. Once they have done that, they will actually be ready for you to tell them what it is they should buy. At that point just pick the right product for them, and feed back their specific words to describe what it is they were actually looking for. You can up-sell just as easily.</p>
<p>&#13;These are of course, just a few examples of the power of conversational hypnosis. There are countless techniques, and a myriad of ways to employ them in all areas of your life. All you need to do is learn these things, apply them, and you will be reaping the benefits for the rest of your life.</p>
<p>&#13;Through the careful application of hypnotic language patterns, and an understanding of trance phenomena, it is possible to cause nearly any change in the people you are talking to. So the next time you have an argument, or any conversation- whether it be with your lover, boss, or customer- remember that a few well chosen words may be the difference between a nasty outcome, and a joyful one. The application of this skill-set can make your professional life more rewarding, your personal life smoother, and your love life hotter.</p>
