Article by Gaetane Ross

There are other ways that anxiety disorder sufferers can do on their own to treat their illness, such as the natural and non-drug remedies outlined in this article. While these remedies are not substitutes for professional opinions and treatments, they may be used in conjunction with or as a supplement to the therapy and medication that a doctor may already prescribe.

The purpose of using natural remedies and turning to self-help tips for the treatment of anxiety disorder is to give the patient a certain amount of control in dealing with this illness. Many natural remedies are also gentler and easier to integrate into everyday routines while also promoting overall bodily and mental health.

Here are some of the self-help tips and natural remedies with which to manage anxiety disorder:

Change your diet

Food can affect the body in many ways and the proper diet can help ease certain symptoms of anxiety disorder. Many of the physical symptoms that a person suffers from may be the result of vitamin and mineral deficiency. As such, it is important that a balanced and sensible diet be implemented.

Intake of certain foods such as caffeine, nicotine and salt should also be controlled. Caffeine and nicotine are stimulants and can increase the adrenal response of the body. This reaction has the potential to cause nervousness, agitation, insomnia and anxiety. Salt should also be avoided or taken in moderation. It decreases the amount of potassium in the body, a mineral that is essential for the normal functions of the nervous system.

Take vitamin supplements

Certain vitamins and minerals aid the body in performing at its best. Some of them are quite helpful in fighting certain symptoms of anxiety disorder naturally. These include B-complex vitamins, magnesium and calcium. By providing the means with which to help the body relax and function properly, certain physical symptoms of the disorder are eliminated.

Use traditional herbal medicines

Some herbs have been used for many years as treatment for some forms of anxiety disorder. Chamomile tea, for example, is known to calm nerves and help in relaxation. Other herbs such as kava, St. John’s wort, skullcap and hops are also quite common in herbal tonics.

A caveat: there is very little scientific evidence to prove that these herbs are as effective as reported. When using herbal medicines, find out exactly what the side effects are and purchase only from reputable herbal shops. It is also extremely important not to combine herbal medicines with any prescription drugs, especially anti-depressants.

Try aromatherapy

Aromatherapy has been in use for thousands of years and is still considered as one of the best natural ways to induce relaxation and relieve stress, frustration and anxiety. Some scents and herbs that are used for this purpose include lavender, bergamot, frankincense, lime, jasmine, ylang ylang, sandalwood and cypress.

Relax with self-hypnosis or meditation

Self-hypnosis and meditation have been known as very effective ways of relaxing the body and clearing the mind. As treatment for anxiety disorder, meditation and self-hypnosis help reduce associated symptoms such as increased heart and respiration rate, blood pressure and muscle tension.

Meditation, self-hypnosis and other relaxation techniques can also induce better and deeper sleep and decrease incidents of headaches, migraines and other physical discomfort. A 20 to 30-minute session performed daily can help attain a general feeling of well being and ease, allowing an anxiety disorder sufferer to be in control of his responses to anxiety attacks.

Structured problem solving

The problem with anxiety disorders is that it is an illness that needs to be healed from within. You already have all the powers of control. All you have to do is to put yourself together long enough to determine how you can actively solve the problem.

Learn to break a problem into smaller parts. Determine how each part may be solved and then perform a solution. By breaking a problem down into manageable components, you will realize that it’s not too big or that it’s not threatening at all. This technique helps manage milder forms of depression and generalized anxiety disorder.

Find a support group

Even non-drug therapies used for the treatment of anxiety disorder also include family groups and support groups. At a time when an illness can be overwhelming, it is very important that a person who suffers from anxiety disorder should have a support network of family, friends and medical practitioners he can trust and depend on for the duration of his treatment. He can also get in touch with community organizations that offer support and counseling.

“What If I Told You Your Next Panic Attack Would Only Last A Few Seconds and That You Would Never Have To Experience Another Again”

Question by Ahmad and malookie: has anyone ever got cured from hypnosis for anxiety or cbt 100 percent?
i would like to do hypnosis for my panic disorder and GAD but was wondering if it would even cure it. aldo will Cognitive behavioral therapy work for me if the panic away stuff didn’t work for me . i feel hopeless please no ask your docter or phystrits. i have had this for 3 years i cant go on meds beacsue i dont want to relie on them.

Best answer:

Answer by Jared
Of course. However it is subjective so hard to put in an empirical form. Everyone will always have anxiety from time to time for their entire lives. Anxiety is a normal human emotion — it is just excess anxiety for little to no reason that needs treatment.. which is your case.

CBT has a MUCH higher track record than hypnosis — but doing both certainly won’t hurt your chances.

Often people have their anxiety ‘reduced’ to a manageable level that doesn’t interfere with their daily function — which is the ultimate goal of treatment. 100% elimination of anxiety isn’t so much the goal. Generally when an anxiety disorder is reduced significantly it then becomes something that isn’t obsessed about at all.. and consequently the brain further adapts due to the person not being consumed with the anxiety and it further is reduced over time. Which essentially leads to what would be called a 100% success. CBT gives you coping mechanisms and ultimately works with our thought patterns that will structurally retrain the brain over a period of time to stop the anxiety at the source instead of ‘masking’. Medications are helpful for many cases — I recommend against the benzodiazepine family of medicines as their long term efficiency is poor — and those who rely on them daily for anxiety will eventually experience a need to increase dose, and have interdose withdrawal and elevated anxiety beyond the initial anxiety. It is just not very good for long term.

Some mild anti depressants can be very good long term to manage anxiety — and it is shown that combining such a medication with ‘therapy’ .. such as CBT has the highest success. Though being adamant about not taking medicine is perfectly fine and suits CBT very well. Also consider adding exercise several times a week to your lifestyle (if you don’t already) as this is proven to be extremely effective at combating anxiety, depression, and pretty much all mental illness not to mention the physical benefits.

Get in with a good Cognitive behavioral therapist and WORK the program often and have faith in it.. our brains are plastic (they aren’t hardwired) meaning if you provide new stimulus for a period of time it WILL invariably change in structure and neural connection/association. It isn’t QUICK, but over months and years huge changes can and do occur. So with that in mind, patience is the ultimate virtue needed for the highest level of recovery.

Good luck,

The use of hypnosis has long been used as alternative for traditional medicine for almost everything. There are cases of it being used for physical treatments such as cancer and arthritis, but it is best known for having the most positive effects on mental illnesses such stress, anxiety and depression. Usually one would seek a specialist to perform hypnosis based on their specific needs. Work hypnosis is a long time tradition with a history of success and is probably the most common although it has been proven to work for a huge variety of disorders.

How Hypnosis Treats Anxiety

The use of hypnosis for anxiety is one of the best ways to deal with anxiety, even better than prescription medications. Anxiety can be classified as an almost debilitating disease as it can cause its sufferer to develop panic disorder and agoraphobia, among many other complications. The use of hypnosis will not only provide a comfort to the sufferer, but will also teach ways to overcome anxiety; including methods of breathing and utilizing guided imagery to train the mind to overcome the severe anxiety one feels.

The use of hypnosis is very much merely the first step of overcoming the symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety itself is based upon the minds ability to process regularly without any unnatural fears. Anxiety can be caused by an endless amount of things, as well as starting up on its own out of almost nowhere. There are innumerable cases of people calling 911 or their local hospital due to having their first panic attack, which is a completely new experience for them, as it causes the sufferer to experience something new that may be unrecognizable, and completely terrifying as it may cause one to think they are having a heart attack or that something that is going horribly wrong within their body to cause the severe disorientation they are feeling.

Hypnosis teaches the mind how to process the thoughts and feeling they are having, inevitably, if the hypnosis program is stuck with, it should not only provide a hypnotism effect on the person, but should have taught the sufferer to breathe properly through an anxiety attack. This proper breathing method is done by inhaling deeply through the mouth and then exhaling slowly through the nose.

It is imperative with any form of hypnosis, as well as for any sought out form of anxiety treatment to stick with it! Only attending one session, or even twenty sessions may not be enough. While it may be for some people, others may find it takes a weekly session or over 6 months worth of work to see any results. The case for every single individual is different. The number one rule to follow that is imperative to success in the use of hypnosis to ease and even rid of your anxiety is simply, to stick with it. It is just as any prescription medication. What good does it do if not taken daily? Exactly, success is only found through following through, which is inevitably the key to your success in anything.

Chronic anxiety happens when stress and anxiety are at a constantly high level. If not treated, chronic anxiety can lead to panic attacks, depression, and agoraphobia. Very often the person suffering finds that the anxiety greatly reduces their ability to function at work and in relationships. It’s hard to have fun and enjoy life when you’re suffering from chest pains, sweating, a racing pulse, and other symptoms of chronic anxiety. And you’re not alone; about 5% of the population suffer right along with you, with many more experiencing a high level of stress and anxiety.

Imagine you have a switch in your brain. When something causes you stress and anxiety, the switch is on, but most of the time it is off. When you suffer from chronic anxiety, that switch is always in the on position. There are ways you can learn to turn the switch off.

Hypnosis is a wonderful way to treat chronic anxiety for many reasons. First, it is an easy way to get to the root of your anxiety, to understand what’s causing it, and to change the way you perceive anxiety-inducing situations. Also, hypnosis in itself is a great way to relax. You can learn how to counter your anxiety symptoms. If, for example, you feel yourself getting hot when stressed and anxious, you can learn to automatically feel cool in stressful situations

Use hypnosis to gently reset your anxiety levels and become more relaxed in more situations

Do you ever feel that your thoughts and emotions control you, rather than the other way round?

Sometimes, you can feel as if something bad is about to happen for no apparent reason. As if you are about to have to do something, but you don’t know what.

This sort of general anxiety or fear is usually generated by an unconscious response to the ‘misuse’ of the imagination. Basically, the ‘back part’ of the mind is getting the message from the imagination that something bad is going to happen, and so creates a state of readiness in the mind and body: anxiety.

This can partly be due to experiences in the past, or a lack of an ability to tolerate uncertainty – not knowing what is going to happen, but whatever the reason, using anxiety hypnosis the mind can learn to relax and take things as they come.

And this is how this ‘hypnosis for anxiety and fear’ session works. Using hypnotherapy, anxiety melts away, enabling you to enter a calm and relaxed frame of mind. The unconscious mind can then learn to ‘re-set’ its responses to things back to normal, allowing you to enjoy every day with less anxiety, and more comfort.

If you are seeking relaxation, hypnosis is an excellent way to get started. For those that live a stressful life, getting rid of the stress is vital for good health. Stress leads to many life-threatening conditions such as heart disease and stroke. Hypnosis healing makes such a difference to those that have a stressful life. It works at the subconscious level to help relieve anxiety and worries that persist throughout the day and night. It helps induce deep relaxation and brings the body and mind to a state of rest that often doesn’t occur naturally with a highly stressed person.

Hypnosis healing is a great way to deal with things that you may think you cannot control. Stress often leads some people to overeat. Some want to sleep more than usual. Others use alcohol or nicotine to relax. All of this helps soothe both the conscious and the subconscious mind. However, none of it is healthy. Using relaxation hypnosis works from the ground up. The hypnotherapist works with the subconscious brain to settle the mind and bring stress levels under control. The therapist can put suggestions in place that will help the client every day to deal with common stressors such as work or money.

Hypnosis healing works with more than relaxation and stress reduction. Many people use the technique to deal with various conditions such as depression or phobias. When you get under the covers of the brain, you deal with the basic function of how the brain reacts to the external world. Relaxation hypnosis works to reduce daily stressors. Therapy with phobias works to reduce the emotional and physical responses to whatever invokes such deep fear. Therapy with depression works to deal with issues that may invoke deep emotional issues.

Hypnosis healing is fantastic when used in conjunction with other therapies. Many people want a magician when they walk into the office. They expect to exit the office a changed person. That will not happen. The hypnotherapist will help relieve the subconscious stressors. For full success, other factors such as environment and planning must be part of any therapy. That includes relaxation hypnosis. To reduce stress, it is important to make changes throughout your life. Time management helps as well as taking personal time. Exercise helps reduce stress levels as well. With a full package, you will get better results in both the short term and the long term. That makes the world of difference.

I have mild depression, and anxiety that stems from irrational thoughts. I see a therapist once a week, and I am on the lowest dose (150mg) of Wellbutrin SR, once a day. The low dose of Wellbutrin, plus the therapy once a week have helped dramatically, but I still have a bit of trouble with the anxiety. While it’s not as bad as it was a couple months ago, I still find myself on edge and worried about irrational things quite often. I have close friends to talk to, a great supportive family, and I love where I’m at in my life, but I feel like this kind of cloud of anxiety that hangs out in the back of my mind is keeping me from being as happy as possible.
I also do self talk and deep breathing exercises, but they are not getting rid of the problem. I am ok with having some anxiety about giving a presentation or something normal, I know that that will never go away, but I can’t stand constantly worrying that some catastrophe is going to happen (the irrational thoughts).
So basically the question is…has anyone ever tried hypnosis for anxiety? I thought maybe it would help if when hypnotized, someone told me that my fears/worry were not real.
Has anyone done anything else that’s completely resolved their anxiety that I am not doing (self talk, exercise, music, writing, praying, therapy, staying busy with things I like, supportive friends and family, Wellbutrin, deep breathing)? I’d like to try to avoid increasing the meds, so any other suggestions would be great!

I would really appreciate real answers, and will definitely give 10 points to anyone who can suggest something from experience that really helped them, or can answer my questions about hypnotherapy.
Also, please no rude or stupid answers (ie: calm down, chill out).

Thanks Everyone!!
Thanks for the suggestions so far. I guess I forgot to note that I eat a pretty healthy diet, with lots of organic fruit, veggies, nuts, fish, lean turkey and chicken and whole grains. I also take flax seed oil, fish oil, multi vitamin and alpha lipoic acid.
I’m going to wait for a few more answers till I post a best, but I like the suggestions about the natural food/oils that I could add to my diet too. Thanks!
Wow..pupgranny and Brian are both the best answers. Brian those websites are great, and pupgranny, I plan on trying the juices and stuff you suggested. Thank you so much!

If your anxiety symptoms are taking over your life, especially at critical moments, you have probably considered ways to manage your anxiousness. Here is a brief run-down of various methods you can use, so you can better select the best way to address your anxiety attack symptoms. Dealing with Anxiety Attack Symptoms 1. Medicine It is possible to get prescription drugs that alleviate anxiety, as well as non-prescription, relatively mild products that address anxiety symptoms. However, there are some risks associated with medication, such as side effects and dependency. 2. Exercise Regular exercise helps to work off excess energy and tension. It also gives the person a feeling of accomplishment, particularly if they notice a marked improvement in their health, energy level, and appearance. Both anxiety and anxiety symptoms are, to an extent, addressed. 3. Relaxation/Meditation Many people conflate meditation and relaxation with exercise. However, meditative disciplines, such as yoga, are often much more than the assuming of various postures. They also involve a great deal of mental concentration and discipline. The focusing techniques you can learn in yoga can go a great deal towards freeing you from symptoms of mild anxiety attacks and other anxiety stress. Instead of letting small worries blow up into big, overwhelming issues, you can teach yourself to concentrate on what is truly important. 4. Deep Breathing This particular method definitely dovetails with meditation. After all, you probably know that breathing exercises form an integral part of yoga at all levels. However, it is possible to practice deep breathing exercises without necessarily learning mental exercises or philosophy. This could be a good option for people who do not believe that the meditative philosophies presented to them match well with their own belief system, but would still like to tackle their anxiety disorder symptoms. 5. Herbal Therapy Many cultures around the world have developed traditional herbal remedies going back hundreds of years. The European Wiccan tradition has survived to some extent. The Indian Ayurvedic system is perhaps much older and more organized. Herbs can be “taken” in a variety of ways. You can eat them, drink tea made from them, or inhale smoke from burned or smoked herbs. In some cases, you can procure doses easily. You might grow your own herbs, or buy products from your local aromatherapy shop. In other cases, such as in traditional Chinese medicine, a prescription from an expert is required. As with deep breathing, however, it often treats the anxiety symptoms, but not the underlying psychological and emotional roots of anxiety. 6. Therapy You may go for sessions with a psychiatrist and/or support group. Such sessions may be costly, particularly if you rely mainly on one-on-one sessions. However, they can go a long way towards locating, deconstructing, and dissecting the conscious and sub-conscious roots of your anxiety, not just your anxiety depression symptoms. Therapy might also help you uncover other underlying disorders and issues that are related to your anxiety. Hypnosis may or may not play a part in your therapy sessions. However, do be aware that therapy does place you in the hands of another person. Make sure that your therapist has a very good reputation and trustworthy ethics.

This treatment reportedly has no side effects as there are no chemicals or substances brought into the body.

Additionally, for relieving anxiety, hypnosis functions as an important factor for bringing in changes which results in relieving overall mental stress. People who have already undergone this treatment say that they desire to have diet which is healthy and they also want to exercise. Anxiety can be completely removed or minimized by hypnotherapy; this gives the person a positive frame of mind in which the person wants to live.

Herbal remedies are also an approach which is useful in the treatment of anxiety. The drugs made by man have side effects which are of serious and critical nature, whereas herbs mostly have effects which soothe the mind. Chamomile, kava kava, St. John’s Wort as well as ginseng are some of the herbs commonly used to treat anxiety.

A diet which is healthy and exercise of physical nature also helps in treating anxiety and these have no bad effects. When there is imbalance of bio-chemicals in the brain, anxiety is caused. Chemicals which are synthetic are used by the doctors mostly to cure it. Exercise done regularly and having healthy diet is the best way to treat anxiety, this is however suggested by history.

To start with the treatment of anxiety, having healthy diet consisting of fruits and vegetables is very good. You should also put an effort to completely eliminate consumption of toxins such as nicotine and caffeine. These have proved to be the major causes of hypertension and also increase the chances of getting prone to the disease. There is an improvement in circulation and also the digestive system becomes stronger by regular exercise.

Breathing techniques are useful in facing anxiety. Anxiety symptoms can be greatly reduced by the exercise program having breathing techniques. Cardio and yoga are the best anti anxiety exercises. Jogging, walking and cycling are helpful in reducing anxiety. Natural herbs and supplements are other remedies.

Fish oil is also useful for the treatment of anxiety. Vitamin B also helps you reduce the stress. Vitamin D is also beneficial as most of the Americans have vitamin D deficiency. Above were the best and simple ways of overcoming anxiety. By this, we can conclude that natural remedies or natural treatment is any time better than the treatment done by drugs, which may have side effects, where as herbal and natural treatments have no side effects, and they are useful in soothing the mind and also helpful in creating positivity.

With the pressures of climbing the corporate ladder and just keeping up with the Jones’s, there are many things that are pushing us in life to succeed and achieve greater goals year on year. While really wanting to succeed and attain our goals we can stumble on some obstacles that may be barriers that keep up from making a success in life and reaching our goals. One example of this is a fear of public speaking; also known as public speaking anxiety. In a recent survey this phobia was put at number one as being the most severe fear that you could suffer from. Just to show you how bad it can be, the fear of death on the same survey came it at number seven!

As a ‘recovered’ sufferer of public speaking anxiety myself, I can empathize with people that are sufferers at the moment. The phobia itself is ‘all in the mind’ however it really does have a physical part to play too, allowing us to sweat, shake and get palpitations – sometimes even just thinking about it! I even remember reading a case history once of a young man in his twenties suffering a heart attack due to the stress and pressure that he was under with his public speaking anxiety. It really can cause a massive effect on the person that it is hounding.

Most sufferers will unfortunately just come to terms with it and allow it to limit them in future life choices such as getting a promotion at work or just giving an after dinner or best mans speech. If you do suffer from this condition you can think back now on just how many opportunities that you have missed out on due to this irrational fear. Some of you may have just tried facing it, only to make the phobia stronger after a failed attempt! Wherever you are at the moment – with the correct approach you can get the success that you both desire and deserve.

I help all of my clients that come to me for help with public speaking anxiety with hypnosis and self hypnosis. In fact in my clinic and with my downloads and my book I have helped thousands to overcome this fear with great success. Simply put – hypnosis reprograms the part of the brain that houses all of the behaviours and beliefs that make this phobia. This part of the brain is called the sub-conscious mind. Hypnosis works on every aspect of the phobia giving the client the results that they want and need.

Overcome anxiety help is a very important aspect of your overall mood and wellbeing. Overcoming depression, panic or phobia requires support. You can take a comprehensive approach that uses self-hypnosis for additional guidance and support to work through your anxiousness.

Anxiety Self Help

The process of introducing an independent approach to taking care of your excessive anxiousness is to begin with research and assessment. You are starting on this journey by reading about ways to find the proper intervention for your needs. There are probably significant signs that you want to find support and guidance.

Your anxiousness can develop into different problems including panic attack, sleep disorders and phobic conditions. These conditions can significantly interfere with your ability to function normally on a day-to-day basis. When this occurs, your anxiousness is more than just an emotion; it is a habitual way of responding to stress.

Stress and Anxiousness

Stressful situations give rise to anxious feelings. When you experience stress on a regular basis, you can develop excessively anxious feelings that stay with you. This is because your subconscious mind holds on to the emotion rather than releasing it. Your thought processes are an integral part of how you process stress.

When you think in terms of anxiety, you become obsessed with the negative emotions. Anxiety self-help seeks to get rid of the anxiousness you feel before it develops into other emotional problems. Anxious feelings are very powerful side effects of stress that can lead to serious conditions that interfere with your daily life.

Stressed Conditions

Panic attacks are very unpleasant episodes that can occur when you have repressed anxiousness in your psyche. These attacks are terrifying and can have significant ramification on your daily life. Other conditions include depression and phobias.

When any of these serious conditions have an impact on your daily life, it is time to seek support. Using self-hypnosis is a viable option that can help you create new patterns of thoughts and new habitual responses to stressful situations. As you learn how to relax deeply, the anxiousness and tension melts away.

Overcome Anxiety Help

Self-hypnosis is such a good choice because it is relaxing by its very nature. Simply taking the time for reflective meditation can help ease stress and tension in your everyday life. In addition, this approach works to create new patterns of thought and emotional responses to stress. You are better able handle stress through this process.

You can find the assistance you need in a hypnosis recording. Joseph Clough’s masterful recording found here – Overcome Anxiety Help – is an excellent example of a composition designed specifically for easing stress and anxiousness.

Many people have trouble coping with anxiety every day. Life can be very demanding with so many home, work, and relationship responsibilities. It’s so easy to get caught up in one aspect of life and neglect the others. Life gets out of balance and we’re running to catch up. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Here are three tips for anyone who needs help coping with anxiety.

Take time out every day for you. No matter how much you have to do every day, it is essential that you take some time every day, even if it’s just fifteen minutes, for yourself. You aren’t being lazy or selfish; you’re taking care of you. And you have to take care of you before you take care of anything or anyone else. Remember those airline instructions? Put your oxygen mask on first before you help others put theirs on. You are no good to anyone if you run out of air. So get up a little bit earlier to drink coffee by yourself, take a short walk during your lunch break, or take a warm bath before bed. You’ll feel more relaxed and ready to face your responsibilities.
Find the humor in life. Laughter really is the best medicine. It lowers the level of stress producing hormones and makes you feel good. Wherever you can, look for humor on your everyday life, let go, and laugh.
Just say no. You are as important as anyone else, and so is your time. When people ask you to do things you just don’t have time for, you owe it to yourself to say no. Stop worrying about what other people think. How you feel is much more important. Practice in the mirror if you have to, but learn to say no to time-consuming activities that will spread you too thin.

I have suffered from mild autism and severe social anxiety all my life and I am now a senior in a very strict Kansas High School. My school attendance is rather horrid and I fear that I am beginning to jeopardized my future. I have been seeing a psychologist for 7 months now, which seems to be a waste of both our time because I feel no change. I was assigned different medications for a couple of months but the results caused more damage than good. As of now, my only coping skill is to swing myself into a self hypnosis, which only works for a day or two. I want to go to college and make something of myself, I have a passion for meteorology yet I feel afraid to succeed into the harsh and stressful real world. I don’t want to swing every other day just to feel temporally capable and anxiety free. I have been living a friendless and pathetic life for far too long and I want a change. Are there others out there with similar problems?

Have you been looking for anxiety help and so far been unsuccessful? Anxiety can be a very debilitating and life-affecting issue, but can be notoriously difficult to deal with. Many people spend their whole lives getting prescription after prescription from their doctor for anxiety medication, but this simply provides short-term inhibitors and the anxiety returns with a vengeance once the effects of the medication wear off.

Anxiety can affect your life in all sorts of ways, and it is important to seek long-term anxiety help before these issues get out of hand. You may find that you are unable to concentrate or function properly at work – in fact, some people are so severely affected by anxiety that they are unable to work altogether. Home life, social life and relationships can also be affected, and you may find yourself developing neurotic tendencies.

If you feel as though you are suffering from anxiety, the good news is that there is anxiety help out there. Self help is one type of therapy that can help with this issue on a long term basis, and one method of self help is hypnosis. This has already proven successful with many anxiety sufferers, and could provide you with the boost and help that you need to deal with your anxieties.
