I’ve tried diets, hypnosis, you name it. I start out great, but eventually go back to my bad snacking ways…especially in the evening in front of the TV.

Aside from all of the usual advice, I would say to use a “food journal” so that you are always aware of what you eat. There is a free no-download-necessary program on the web called FITDAY (http://www.fitday.com/ ) that keeps track of your calorie intake, calorie outtake and your daily weight so you can see your progression.
Good luck!
Watch FitTV. get help from there.
Exercise at least 4 days per week, dont eat anything after 7p.m. drink lots of water, loose the sugar, bread and dairy products, but most importantly believe in yourself, get someone to do it with you, and stay motivated, I like the idea about taking a picture of yourself naked and post it on the mirror in your bathroom so you see it everyday, start hobbies like bike riding and make it a point to meet new people at least 3 days out of the week, change your routine and watch the magic take place, write down everything you eat, change your hair, pick out outfits you know you cant get into until you reach a certain size, start a physical actvity like bike riding or walking every other day, remember to give your body time to heal, if you can swim go swim laps every other day. Just do something and if you need motivation you can contact me at masternaterobinson@yahoo.com.
Phentermine. You can buy it at an online pharmacy or get it from a doctor’s office. Only do it with doctor’s monitoring. It really does curb your appetite and those pictures of yourself are great for motivating you. Just think about sticking to a program and givig it all you have. The doctor will monitor your heart rate, blood pressure and weight. I lost 21 lbs in 5 weeks and avoided chips, ice cream, regular soda. Chinese and Mexican food is ok as long as you don’t eat anything crunchy. It works for a lot of people. Good luck!
A diet is only any good if you can live with it for the rest of your life. If you’re planning a diet, design it accordingly. Drinking more water isn’t a bad idea, but make sure that it is water and not juice/punch/fruit drink/alcohol/coffee. Try Green teas though — no cream, no sugar, but a squeeze of lemon if you like.
Also try eating more fibre. It’s a nasty fact that you can be carrying many pounds of excess weight in your intestines. If you’re eating fibre, you’re also not eating calories (this means whole grains — cut that white bread out)
Try replacing your unhealthy snack foods with healthier options. This might mean popcorn if you just want to munch, but try fruit. I haven’t yet met a person who dislikes fresh dates (I get .5kg of fresh, vacuum sealed Algerian dates for about $2.50). If you’ve got a store like Bulk Barn nearby they sell all sorts of dry fruit that make for good snacking. Get fresh fruit too, especially the berries when they’re in season. Then, to satisfy your inner glutton (because everyone’s got one of those), buy your favourite ice cream and place ONE scoop of this over a big bowl of whatever fruit you choose (probably not anything that’s been dried).
Personally, I sold my TV before moving and never replaced it. Now I only watch when I’m at the gym and that’s helped motivate me to get and stay fit more than anything else.
Hope that helps.
go for morning walk
do some exercise
drink altleast 8 glasses in a day
Do not go for junk food
use healthy food
The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you’re consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d
*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.
Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with excellent resistance training routines that will not get you bored is “Muscle and Fitness”. Signup for the free newsletter.
A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.
*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Email me if you want a good indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have other questions.
