Does hypnosis work on social anxiety and how much does it cost?
I’m 16, i’ve been suffering with social anxiety ever since I could remember. I’m tired of it and am willing to spend some cash on a hypnotherapist to get rid of it.
What I expect from hypnosis is being able to communicate w/ people without caring about what they think and breaking the walls and barriers disabling me to speak up, those w/ social anxiety know what i’m talking about. Please don’t tell me just to “do it” because you don’t know how hard it is if you don’t have social anxiety.
Would that happen if I see a therapist for social anxiety? Does it actually work? Will I see a dramatic change in my personality? And how much would it cost?
I don’t want to pay for it if it’s just a gimmick, please include examples/experiences w/ hypnosis. I’m sick and tired seeing everyone around me have fun without the fear of speaking up, I want to be able to enjoy the fun they have. Thank you.

I would expect that hypnosis works for everything. I knew a guy that was dealing with the death of his father, and depression, and it worked for him.
If you want to know how much it costs, find a place that does it and ask them the price range, and obtain more information as well.
Your asking for magic. What really helps fight your social anxiety is having a some kind of support, maybe someone in the same situation as you or just a friend. Go out daily with them, you won’t feel as the world was just watching you . Then just get used to being outside with people. Really just ask yourself , how different is that person standing next to me? He is probably anxious himself. repeat to yourself, “GET OVER YOURSELF!” being cute isn’t everything in life. That’s what used to tick my social anxiety, i was afraid of being seen uncute for some reason. When i felt cute , i just felt like i can take the world on anything. If this is not your situation sorry for wasting your time.
I practice Hypnotherapy very well with most people.
Now to your question. Find a Hypnotherapist that is certified. Two. Check out his academic credentials: years of practice and experience. With whom did he or she study. Ask for names of his clients if they are willing to speak with you about his ability
Cost: $100.00 to 150.00 an hour for a period of at least six sessions. I would evaluate progress at that point.
Remember, the Hypnotherapist isn’t a miracle worker. You have to do the hard work.
Instead of spending $100 – $150 an hour on a hypnotherapist why not learn to do hypnosis yourself? Then you could help your friends with there phobias too.
Maybe it sounds far fetched to you but this guy teaches a system of hypnotic change that’s been proven to transform smokers into non-smokers inside of 20 minutes. It reprograms individuals eating patterns in about the same time. It purges phobias, reduces stress and brings the person out feeling terrific. He says you will find ten steps involved in his system for creating positive, lasting change in people.
A terrific demonstration of this is Jeff Stephens who can teach ANYONE to drop individuals right into a trance, even in the middle of a busy shopping mall. Actually, you can view clips of a few of his students doing exactly that on this web page: http://bit.ly/92i6Jh Take a peek and see what you think. If you’d like to acquire more information from Jeff, you can register to secure a bunch of free videos from him on that same page. Without charge and no obligation. Enjoy!
