Hello ‘ jackklin d ‘ :
Probably be very relaxing !
theyre supposed to. i had a hypnosis lady practitioner come into one of my classes and she talked about her tapes that you listen to while you sleep and the power of suggestion and hypnosis to help solve your problems and i thought she was full of crap.
Um, this sounds like something you would need to ask Myth Busters for that! However, on Oprah (LOL) I saw a story about a boy with an abusive father (I won’t get into it) who played tapes in his room at night trying to “Hypnotize” his son. The son was aware of it (I believe) and alerted his mother. So, you may be aware of a hypnotizing tape, but I really don’t know if it would work or not!
Never worked for me.
No. According to my Psychology book they have been tested and have never shown any results to suggest they do anything. Subliminal messages have also never been able to show any effect on a persons mind.
The only thing hypnosis has been proven to do is control pain. People feel less pain when under hypnosis, and nothing else.
Nothing works while you are asleep. Except the anchovies and pepperoni pizza that you had just before bedtime. If you are in trance just before you go to sleep that is a very different question and the answer to that one is yes.
