Learn About Hypnosis Weight Loss

Controlling your weight and avoiding weight gain as you get older are important ways to prevent a host of weight-related health problems.

Indeed, if you are more than 20 pounds over your ideal weight, you are at greater risk for a rogues’ gallery of potentially deadly conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, endometrial cancer, obstructive sleep apnea, and breast cancer.

What’s more, most people who are overweight tend to avoid exercise, and that avoidance just adds to the toll paid for extra pounds.

Does it really works? The audio hypnosis and subliminal audio hypnosis… like for weight loss, concentration, self confidence, etc…

If they do, any recommendations? like the audio hypnosis author or some sort like that?

Do you want to lose weight and get into the best shape of your life? Of course you do – everyone does! Even people who are close to their “ideal” weight are usually in terrible shape, with a lack of endurance and energy. Being slim isn’t everything – being slim and being in great shape is! But for someone who is overweight, and feeling tired all the time, “slim and in great shape” can feel like a pipe dream… but it’s not – you can do it!

Everyone, including you, has a right and an entitlement to overflowing health, a strong, supple body, and an attractive figure. I think that is a basic human right. And you know what?… it is a human right – but no one can bestow this on you, you have to achieve it and maintain it yourself.

This is a common question that I get, and it is one of the more common misconceptions and myths surrounding hypnosis. It’s interesting that most people want some part of it to be true…as when they have been unsuccessful at change on their own so they just want someone to magically make them do what they know to be the right things automatically. But if the hypnotist using hypnosis was able to do that, then they would also be able to have that person do what the hypnotist wanted him to do for their own selfish needs. And that is what usually scares people, and rightly so. But the truth is that none of these remarks are true. Hypnosis is not a magic that takes over the subjects mind. So a hypnotist is limited to what their client or subject is willing to accept. An experienced and well trained hypnotist is able to get their client to accept more than others.

What The Scientists Report

From close to 15000 worldwide studies reported in the NIH database on March of 2009, when doing a search for “dangers of hypnosis” I was unable to locate any studies that distinctly cited that hypnosis was dangerous. Add to that the extremely low cost of malpractice insurance for hypnotists and you can come to the conclusion on your own that hypnosis is not the danger that some think it is. Rather, hypnosis is a helpful tool for quick and efficient change. The only dangers that I can see is in not taking advantage of hypnotic techniques because you were afraid that it was dangerous.

What Are The New Behaviors For Weight Loss?

In an earlier article I discussed how hypnosis can be used to make lifestyle changes that will become habits. These new habits will lead to an overweight person becoming a lean, physically and emotionally healthier person. Now I received a bunch of questions about what are the habits that I work on to help an overweight person create change and lose weight? And since there were so many questions about what these habits are I decided to write a series of articles explaining the basic habit changes necessary or most desirable that will lead to the quickest change in your weight status.

Is Hypnosis It Temporary?

Not only is Hypnosis not temporary, nothing could be further from the truth. But this again is a common myth and misconception. Hypnosis is as temporary as any knowledge that we know and learn. When you learn to ride a bicycle is that learning temporary? Even if you stopped riding for many years, does that mean that it’s temporary? No, of course not! Of course we could choose to ride or not ride, because that is our free will. Again, we need to review that hypnosis is not dangerous. If hypnosis was about taking away people’s choices, that would be dangerous. But by connecting you through many positive responses to the correct behaviors, an effective hypnotist is able to use those good feelings to guide their clients to a healthy and fit new life. For example, when using hypnosis to lose weight the hypnotist will connect good positive feelings to healthier food choices and bad negative feelings to the unhealthy food choices. This is to guide you from your unconscious/subconscious to correct behaviors that will lead to weight loss.

Do you need to drop those extra pounds of yours and perk up your health? Dieting combined with exercise may be the choice for you. But the stress in most of today’s diets is placed on reducing carbohydrates and fat intake, by suggesting sub-optimal sources of protein, which is an important nutrient.

The Greenwich Diet can be the perfect key. It is a nutrition program planned to modify your metabolism so you feel less hunger for all the foods that make you get fat. As your metabolism increases, your body will become more efficient at burning fat so you will begin to lose those unnecessary pounds more quickly.

What was it like? Did it work for you? How much does it cost generally? A friend of mine is getting it done to quit smoking. It made me think that maybe I could try it for weight loss and self-esteem issues. But part of me is scared of letting somebody get into the deep recesses of my mind. I’ve gotten to the point in my life where I just can’t improve my life by myself, but I definitely don’t want to do anything I’ll regret.
