Is it possible to hypnotize yourself as a means of self help such as improving skills or focus?
yeah i wanted to use self hpnosis to try and help motivate me to study more. I have a terrible habbit of procrastinating sadly.
I’ve looked up about self hypnosis etc, and the good thing is, (kinda) i cnan put myself into a trance state fairly easily, and i’m a fairly suggestable person (ok not a god thing for general life, but i suppose its good for self hypnosis)
Anyway, as well as that i was going to try the sleep thing also, listening to a script or phrase over and over as i slep kinda. Just trying to think of what a good phrase would be.
One of the best ways to develop self-confidence is to work through the subconscious mind. Developing more self-esteem requires personal effort in the development of new core beliefs and perception. As a new perspective develops, more confident feelings and behaviors follow as well.

So I’ve been trying to do self-hypnosis for quite a while now, but it never seems to work. I was wondering if anyone who has been successful at this has any advice. What has worked for you? Any tips or advice would be really helpful. Thanks!
