It is important to understand that hypnosis is a separate, altered state of consciousness. You are not awake. A trance is a state of mind in which a hypnotized client is able to free his or her mind from the constraints of their five senses and preconceptions. Typically the sensation is described as relaxing, blissful, dreamy or “I just felt different”.
You gain control during hypnosis by easily making the changes that you want through hypnotherapy. A hypnotherapist or hypnotism cannot make you violate your moral/ethical code.

So I recently got the program “Think and Lose” and really took it to heart. The first time I fell asleep but woke up and began to do it again. The following day I went to breakfast with some friends and took one bite of my breakfast and felt nauseous. The same thing happened all day. After a week I went to the doctor who did blood work and I’m not pregnant so then I began to think that perhaps it’s a command in the program or my mind took it that way. It says to eat half and leave half but honestly I’m not even eating a quarter and I feel nauceous. It could just be a coincidence but I don’t know, anyone had this happen to them? What did you do? How did you reverse it? I know I feel silly asking but it’s real. Too late in the year for the flu huh? I never get nauseous.

If you answer maybe or no, please tell why.
(This informal poll is for a project I’m working on regarding alternative medicine. Thanks in advance.)

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried hypnosis to lose weight. I understand it can help curb one’s cravings and appetites. I live in New York and am looking into hypnosis. Thanks!
