I was watching a video labeled ‘illegal hypnosis – watch this its really freaky’ and this guy started talking in this really smooth voice. He said ‘Welcome…..to the… world… you…. thought….existed….’ but at that point I stopped it cause i was getting freaked out.

Could I have been hypnotized?

Hi,
I am about to complete the online free hypnosis certification at hypnosis.edu and was wondering what the catch is? Do they just harass you into buying additional classes later on, or try to charge an inflated fee for the diploma thingy?

There has to be some catch; just wondering if anyone has any experience dealing with them in the free online course.

I’ve seen a stage hypnosis show recently and it kind of marked me a little bit. I never though that someone could do something like that to anyone just by words so i’m looking for some nice beginner stuff like video shows, some articles…nothing fancy for now

Is hypnosis fake or real? when ever someone tries to hypnotize me, it never works. Once an expert came to my school and i was the only one not hypnotized. I never ever gotten hypnotized before and i look online for hypnosis videos but they are all fake. Is it real but im immune to it or is it just a load of lies?

I’m curious about hypnosis… I just want to know what it feels like to lose control and have my hands stuck together or have a post-hypnotic suggestion. I’ve read some things people said about what it feels like… but I guess I want to experience it. I’ve also read about self-hypnosis, but I don’t think it’s the same thing as hypnosis (I don’t see how you lose control from yourself to yourself…)

I’ve watched several (5 or so) “self-hypnosis” videos on YouTube, but none of them worked. I tried — I really did. I put my full concentration into what the vids were telling me to do… I even convinced myself that I was hypnotized once until toward the end of the video the thought popped into my mind, “Will this guy ever stop talking?” At which point, I concluded that I was not in a trance. When one video said, “you cannot open your eyes. Try to open them”, I even psyched myself into believed that my eyes would get glued shut. To my disappointment, they popped wide open.

Training Hypnosis

I yet came across a poster stuck on a restaurant message team when I headed out for lunch. The poster said, “Learn How to Hynotize and Start Influencing People.” It easily caught my attention, not because I had prior mortgage in hypnosis, but because the title resembles one of my favorite self permit books, Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People”. There was nothing completely wrong with beginning hypnosis training, even if you have no specific purpose for hypnosis. I was just curious and since curiosity has always gotten over me in the past, I called the number written on the poster and signed up for that weekend’s session. The session was held in the function room of a restaurant downtown.

You know those hypnosis videos on youtube that are supposed to make you feel relaxed?
Anyways…
There’s like several videos that sort of work on me. Like when it says you are getting sleepy or something like that I actually get sleepy but I never go into a trance.
Anyone know why this is?
