One of the first parts of being a great Conversational Hypnotist is to have the ability to induce trance in another person. Without this skill you will have a very difficult time improving the lives of those around you.
The ability to alter the state of mind has been something you probably have been reading about and possibly practicing for some time now.

A common misconception about hypnosis is that we would need a swinging pocket watch to put people in a trance. While that may have been practiced, it is old school hypnosis. Today, we do not need to use magic spells or incantations to put people in a trance. There is a better, more comfortable way of doing so by means of conversational hypnosis.
Anyone can learn conversational hypnosis. This will be very useful, and in fact, even considered a necessity by people who need to influence others’ thinking, in a subtle and indirect manner.

One of the greatest mistakes people make is attempting to use conversational hypnosis without being absolutely confident in their own abilities. This lack of confidence telegraphs itself to subjects through verbal and non-verbal communication. People instinctively pick up the signals of self-doubt through the voice qualities and physiology of the speaker. If you think about it now, you stand and breathe differently when you lack confidence than you do when you are totally confident. You gesture differently, and your voice sounds different when you are confident, right?
Many people lack confidence because they are overwhelmed with the volume of information they are processing or they are fearful of the response they will receive from their subject. It is worth noting that it is not necessary to know everything about conversational hypnosis to effectively use it. Any good program will teach the process by developing a series of skills, each building on those that came before it. Remember, many of the patterns of conversational hypnosis already occur naturally in our every-day communication. All you must do is become aware of the methods and use each one purposely, with volition, to achieve your outcomes. It is a lot easier than it may seem.

Conversational hypnosis is all about language and how you use it. In order to successfully hypnotize someone through conversation, you need to know all about the various conversational hypnosis techniques, how they apply to language, and when to use them. Stealth tactics are very valuable concepts to understand while you study hypnosis.
Stealth tactics are essentially ways to enter the subject’s mind, leave your suggestion without detection, or overload the conscious mind in a way that prevents it from objecting to the presence of your suggestion. Through stealth tactics and special language skills, you can masterfully hypnotize someone just by talking to them – just by holding an everyday conversation.

Conversational hypnosis was a concept largely devised and attributed to an American psychiatrist by the name of Milton Erickson. Erickson founded the American Society for Clinical Hypnosis and was best known for his theories concerning the unconscious mind and how it is susceptible to suggestion in ways that our conscious minds are not.
Probably the single most important concept defined by Erickson was the trance theory. He believed the unconscious mind is always listening, and that while in a trance state, a subject is receptive to things that they would not normally be receptive to. This is a form of indirect suggestion, and the susceptibility comes by inducing a hypnotic trance. It is important to note that conversational hypnosis is not mind control, but rather a form of influencing people through conversation alone. There is no taking over a person’s thoughts or actions in this process. Free will is maintained.

Hypnosis is a process where the hypnotist tries to converse with the thoughts in your subconscious mind. In this process, you are forced to follow the instruction given by the hypnotist to accept the suggestion, thoughts in your subconscious mind, which might be against your wish or will.
However, in conversational hypnosis that is not the case, you can make people believe on what you believe by hypnotizing them conversationally. There is no need to force any person to go to his subconscious state of mind by following commands. In conversational hypnosis you can attract people towards your thoughts mere by conversation. One of the great hypnotist and psychotherapist, Milton Erickson has practiced and perfected the conversational hypnosis techniques and believe that in a day a person naturally slips into trance several times where he can speak to the subject’s subconscious mind and have a conversation.
