How to make auto hypnosis audio?

I would like to start this practice to end my anxiety attacks. Some say that recording audio with your voice saying stuff you need to hear to fix your life is a good way to hypnotize yourself. I need to know:
1. Is this true?
2. How can I record my voice over a playlist of songs?

THank you so much

What are the best autosuggestions for self hypnosis?

For example overcoming phobia and anxiety.

Many people have trouble coping with anxiety every day. Life can be very demanding with so many home, work, and relationship responsibilities. It’s so easy to get caught up in one aspect of life and neglect the others. Life gets out of balance and we’re running to catch up. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Here are three tips for anyone who needs help coping with anxiety.

Take time out every day for you. No matter how much you have to do every day, it is essential that you take some time every day, even if it’s just fifteen minutes, for yourself. You aren’t being lazy or selfish; you’re taking care of you. And you have to take care of you before you take care of anything or anyone else. Remember those airline instructions? Put your oxygen mask on first before you help others put theirs on. You are no good to anyone if you run out of air. So get up a little bit earlier to drink coffee by yourself, take a short walk during your lunch break, or take a warm bath before bed. You’ll feel more relaxed and ready to face your responsibilities.
Find the humor in life. Laughter really is the best medicine. It lowers the level of stress producing hormones and makes you feel good. Wherever you can, look for humor on your everyday life, let go, and laugh.
Just say no. You are as important as anyone else, and so is your time. When people ask you to do things you just don’t have time for, you owe it to yourself to say no. Stop worrying about what other people think. How you feel is much more important. Practice in the mirror if you have to, but learn to say no to time-consuming activities that will spread you too thin. Read the rest of this entry

I have suffered from mild autism and severe social anxiety all my life and I am now a senior in a very strict Kansas High School. My school attendance is rather horrid and I fear that I am beginning to jeopardized my future. I have been seeing a psychologist for 7 months now, which seems to be a waste of both our time because I feel no change. I was assigned different medications for a couple of months but the results caused more damage than good. As of now, my only coping skill is to swing myself into a self hypnosis, which only works for a day or two. I want to go to college and make something of myself, I have a passion for meteorology yet I feel afraid to succeed into the harsh and stressful real world. I don’t want to swing every other day just to feel temporally capable and anxiety free. I have been living a friendless and pathetic life for far too long and I want a change. Are there others out there with similar problems?

Are You Looking for Anxiety Help?

Have you been looking for anxiety help and so far been unsuccessful? Anxiety can be a very debilitating and life-affecting issue, but can be notoriously difficult to deal with. Many people spend their whole lives getting prescription after prescription from their doctor for anxiety medication, but this simply provides short-term inhibitors and the anxiety returns with a vengeance once the effects of the medication wear off.

Anxiety can affect your life in all sorts of ways, and it is important to seek long-term anxiety help before these issues get out of hand. You may find that you are unable to concentrate or function properly at work – in fact, some people are so severely affected by anxiety that they are unable to work altogether. Home life, social life and relationships can also be affected, and you may find yourself developing neurotic tendencies.

Three Steps to Attacking Anxiety

Anxiety is one of the main causes of health problems, and by attacking anxiety head on, you can reduce the effect it has on your life and your health. Follow the three steps listed below and you’ll have a head start on reducing anxiety in your life.

Don’t ignore stress when it comes into your life. Everyone has it; it’s a natural part of life, especially in this day and age when everyone has so many responsibilities and roles to play. Acknowledge that you have anxiety, because it won’t go away if you don’t. By attacking anxiety head on, rather than pretending it isn’t there, you can deal with it.
Try to pinpoint exactly what it is that’s causing your anxiety. One way to do this is by keeping a journal. It doesn’t have to be lengthy; just a short entry about your day will help you see where anxiety is coming from, as well as patterns of anxiety-causing events. When you know what’s causing your stress, you can look back at a situation and see how you can react in a different, less stressful way.
Take responsibility for attacking anxiety. If you have a tendency to blame others or outside events for causing you stress, stop. You are in control of yourself and how you react, and that is all you can control. You are the only one who can make positive changes in your life. And once you realize that, you will feel very empowered. Read the rest of this entry

Hypnosis…anyone had experience with it? Does it work?

I am seeing a counselor who wants to try hypnosis to get deeper into underlying issues with stress and anxiety. i am afraid of not having control, something bad happening, and not even sure it works. don’t want to say anything i am not ready to talk about, or possibly say something that i don’t understand when i am not under hypnosis. anyone have any experience?

I know the causes of my worry habit but those elements are gone from my life (ex spouse). I would love a cure for this. My life is 99.9 percent perfect now except for the ocd type worry.

Thanks all!! xoxoxoxoxooxox

Also, I’m not on any meds or an ssri now though those worked. Just want to try something different. I’ve visited 2 or three therapists and none were useful. Also considering hypnosis.
