There’s no catch. It can cure shyness and social anxiety, as long as a whole list of things.
But…you have to be able to want the results to be positive or you’ll work against the therapy. That’s true of anything you want hypnotherapy to help you with, like smoking or weight control. You have to really want it because hypnotherapy cannot make you do what you do not want to do.
Give it a try! I quit smoking seven years ago with hypnotherapy and it cost me less than $100.
Okay, I can’t completely discard the whole hypnosis theory. It’s at the very least worth a shot. Afterall, tons of other skills can be learned subconsciously.
Have you ever heard of those audio tapes that improve your vocabulary? You listen to them while your sleeping and they play new words and definitions for you to learn. I tried that once and it totally worked.
Whewww…got off topic there. Anyway, yes I think hypnosis can help temporarily and a bit. However, for REAL improvement and results that last, you’re better off learning natural techniques for overcoming social anxiety. I’m talking about applicable exercises you can do to actively work on your social anxiety problem.

Good Luck to you!
Yes hypnosis could be used for this. Other method are effective too. Probably a lot of people are too shy to seek out help for their problem.
